Delaware river
As the weakened Continental Army crossed the Delaware River, they sighted a British infantry, and decided to preform a 2 prong attack on December 26, 1776 and succeeded, taking many of the enemy cannons and held many British troops captive. This victory restored hope to the Americans and encouraged them to continue fighting.
